The college library had its humble beginnings from the inception of the college in 1965. It has shifted from the main building in 1992 and is located in first floor of building adjacent to main building. The primary aim of the library is to establish a learning environment for the academic community. It acts as a centre for the collection of information resources related to all the subjects offered by the college. It is an integral part of the college and plays a pivotal role in dissemination of knowledge through books, journals, magazines and other digital media. The library has a circulation area, reference area and an area for display of periodicals. Additional reading area is also attached with the library. The Library stacks a comprehensive collection of printed as well as electronic resources which include books, journals, database, CDs/DVDs, e-journals, reports etc. useful for the academic community. Presently the library has an extensive collection of over 39000 books and also subscribes to more than 25 periodicals (including journals, magazines and newspapers). The library has subscribed the N-LIST library consortium (database of E-books & E-Journals) and offers access to its contents through password protected user accounts. A web centric, open source library management software, KOHA, is used for automating library housekeeping operations. The library is modernized with bar coding based automation system that facilitates check-in, check-out and renewal of books.
