NCC

There is an NCC sub unit comprising one Officer and 107 cadets in the College.  Those who wish to join in NCC can contact the Officer, and training will be for a period of 3 academic years. Cadets with enough attendance and achievements are granted special incentives and benefits by University and Government in the form of bonus marks and grace marks.

Aims of NCC

  • To develop character, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure, sportsmanship and ideals of selfless service among the youth of the country.
  • To create human resource of organized, trained and motivated youth, to provide leadership in all walks of life and always be available for the service of the nation.
  • To provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the Armed Forces. Training in NCC instills qualities like nationalism, patriotism, discipline, team spirit, leadership and self confidence and promotes overall personality development. NCC gives a tremendous opportunity to one and all for betterment irrespective of cast, creed, religion or economic status.
